Best Tires For Subaru Forester – Our Reviews
Kumho Solus TA31 – Unique Tread Pattern
The Kumho Solus TA31 tire is an all-season tire, which offers a unique tread pattern. The tread pattern has 5 ribs, 4 ribs protecting the center rib. The outer ribs throw off water from the tire so that the center rib can create traction. This makes your drive quiet and comfortable.
Driving with these tires was a nice experience, but I didn’t find them to be extraordinary or something special.
They don’t offer good rain or even light snow traction. Michelin tires are much better for those conditions. They are known to wear down quite quickly and leave rubber on the road.
Overall this is a good tire that will do the job but is not the best that you can get.

Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 – Improved Snow And Rain Driving
If you live in a cold, wet climate then these winter tires are some of the best that you can buy!
The Bridgestone Blizzak WS80 tires stay grippy and flexible in very cold conditions and the treading pattern (with 20% more blocked edges compared to the WS70) helps to improve driving through snow and rain. The new shape cavity on the tires helps to prolong the tire’s lifespan.
These winter tires will provide roughly 12,000 to 15,00 miles of winter service before their Multicell tread wears down. This works out to about 3 to 4 winters for the driver who drives 3,000 – 4,000 winter miles per year.
These are excellent winter tires and I was happy with my purchase. They are designed especially to be driven on wet roads during the winter. They don’t drive as well on dry roads, but that is to be expected.

Pirelli Cinturato P7 – Tire With All Season Abilities
Pirelli Cinturato tires offer great mileage and despite being summer tires, do well in the rain and have good snow traction. I was very impressed with the construction of the tire.
They feature a seal inside the tire which allows the driver to carry on driving even after the tire is punctured, without losing air pressure. This apparently covers almost 85% of the possible accidental causes of pressure loss.
If you faithfully maintain the tires by rotating them at the correct time and keep the air pressure on point then you’re sorted. But if you are don’t, then you will be replacing your tires sooner than you hoped.
Another thing to note about these tires is that they make more noise on the road as they wear down.

Yokohama AVID TOURING-S – A Quiet Drive
The Yokohama AVID TOURING-S is a great all season tire! They provide great traction for driving on both wet and dry roads, promising a quiet, smooth ride and a 60 000 mile tread wear warranty. Working in tandem, the tapered rain channels and circumferential grooves push away water for maximum traction in wet conditions.
I would highly recommend them! The mileage, traction and handling that these tires provide are excellent. My experience driving with them was one of pleasure and satisfaction!

Goodyear Assurance Weather Ready – Evolved Traction
These all-season Goodyear Assurance Weather Ready tires have excellent traction that doesn’t worsen as the tire wears.
This is thanks to their evolved traction groves; zig-zag biting edges on the tire help it to grip surfaces that are covered in ice or snow. Molded into an asymmetric design, the tread is able to provide for any weather conditions.
When I have driven with these tires I have been very satisfied with how well they drive on the snow and ice as well as wet roads. They have even improved my mileage! Quieter driving was also noted.

Continental WinterContact SI – Best Winter Tires
Continental WinterContact SI tires are built for tough winters with the ability to plow through snow, ice and rain. The unique tread pattern makes the tires great at handling dry roads as well! Tread depth indicators on the tire will alert you when its time to buy new tires.
I rave about these tires! They are sure-footed in icy and snowy conditions and drive very smoothly on dry roads, with only a slight increase in noise. I have even driven through 6 inches of snow with these on their cars!
This tire has got a great fuel economy and if they worked a little better in the summer season, I would use them all year round.
The one downside to this tire is that it does not come with a mileage warranty.
